Emma Hansen is the Head of Operations at Hewison Private Wealth, responsible for bringing together people, systems and processes to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience and support the firm’s strategic objectives.

With over a decade of experience in financial services, Emma has built her career around operational leadership, problem-solving and process design. She is known for her ability to create structure and clarity, building the connective tissue that enables teams to work effectively together and businesses to operate seamlessly.

In her role at Hewison, Emma focuses on aligning operations with strategy, streamlining workflows and strengthening the frameworks that sit behind the client experience. She believes that when operations are designed well, the experience should feel effortless — for clients and for teams — and that strong outcomes are driven by clear processes, capable people and shared accountability.

Emma is currently completing her Master of Business Administration and is due to graduate in 2026, a milestone she is proud of. She values leadership that connects people to purpose, aligns teams to a shared vision and drives high performance without losing the human element.

Outside of work, Emma is a proud mum to two young daughters, a devoted dog lover, and enjoys spending time with family, including visits back home to New Zealand — grounding influences that reflect the care and balance she brings to her leadership.
