The Hewison Foundation was established in 2015 by the directors of Hewison Private Wealth. It is built on the fundamental belief that fostering human connection and empowering individuals will enhance their lives, as well as the lives of others within their community. The purpose was clear: to support even more people to build a better life.
Today, we continue to expand our philanthropic efforts by providing grants and charitable donations to an array of charities and not-for-profit organisations. Helping to support and connect communities that have given us so much. More recently, the Foundation board invited the Hewison Private Wealth team to nominate charities they were passionate about or had personal experiences with. The Hewison Foundation is driven by the values underpinned by the freedom of independence — empowering others to build a better future.

As a registered Public Ancillary Fund, the Hewison Foundation welcomes donations from anyone who shares our vision: a future where independence is accessible to all. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us create meaningful impact.
Since inception, the Foundation has proudly granted nearly $200,000 to charities aligned with our mission—and we’re just getting started. With a goal to build a $1 million corpus by 2027, we’re focused on creating a sustainable vehicle for philanthropy, enabling us to make grants in perpetuity.
