Code of Ethics

As a cornerstone of our company philosophy, integrity and ethical behaviour are non-negotiable priorities. Simply put, nothing comes before the protection of our clients' interests - our fiduciary duty.

In accordance with our desire to satisfy all disclosure requirements concerning the FPA Code-of-Ethics and the Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) advisory services guidelines, we have summarised a series of the most asked questions and the answers concerning our business services, procedures, staff involvement and costs.

You have the right to ask us about our charges, the type of advice we will give you, and what you can do if you have any complaint about our service.

As a Principal Member of the Financial Planning Association, Hewison's diligently follows the FPA Code-of-Ethics.

Value of independent advice

All of our private client advisers are tertiary qualified and hold a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional designation, with additional specialisations in self-management superannuation. It is a requirement that all of our private client advisers participate in our mentoring program which consists of three to four years of supervised, professional in-house training.

As a Hewison Private Wealth client you’ll have access to two private client advisers, and a designated client service manager, giving you the confidence that you’ll always be dealing with the same people, who you know and trust.
